Educated at Åsa folkhögskolas streetdance program in 2013
and has since then been working on the streetdance platform
in Uppsala. During this time she has traveled to learn more in Marocco, France, USA, Germany, performed in Palestine and
found her love for Afro-cuban dance in Cuba. She embraces
the hiphop culture and works hard to share it through Uppsala Loves Hiphop.
Mateja received Uppsala city's scholarship for culture workers 2017, for her burning desire to inspire youths to express themselves through dance and for her to develop in Afro-cuban dance.



Working as a dance teacher, dancer and organizer she shares
her love for hiphop and tries to spread the culture in anyways possible. Studied two years at Åsa Folkhögskolas streetdance educations, five styles (hiphop, house, breaking, popping, locking) & One style in Hiphop. To keep developing her dance and learn more she actively takes workshops in Sweden and abroad​ (e.g. USA, France, Germany). She has performed in Palestine and Guatemala, where she also held workshops.
In 2017 she was awarded for being on the top 30 Uppsala citizens under 30 years old for her work as a dancer.
